Republican RINOS join Obama's environmental
mafia to deny water to starving farmers in California
Rick Nelson
Obama has allowed (or pushed) his Interior Department to block water to the San Joaquin Valley
of Central California. This is one of the most fertile farming grounds in the country is is often referred to
as the nations "food pantry". The region is a key source of the nation's food supply. Farmers in this
area are in a life-and death battle with environmental extremist groups, the Apollo Alliance, and the Obama
administration.
At the center of the battle is a 2-inch fish called the Delta
Smelt that the environmentalis claim they want to protect. They have used this fish to
prevent farmers in the vally from getting the water that is needed to farm. As a result enemployment in the
area is 41 percent. Farmers are now standing in lines fro 6-8 hours to get canned rations from China to
survive. The farm workers there are literally starving and have no alternatives. The government has
turned its back on them. They are not asking for handouts, they only want water. This is happening in
America, not some third world country.
Yesterday, further tragedy happened in the US Senate. Republican SenatorJim
DeMintof South Carolina An offered up an amendment to the Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies
Appropriations Act, 2010 that would have provided water to these starving farmers and workers. Every
single democrat voted against giving water to the farmers. What is not surprising is that a trio of
Republican RINOS voted against it too. Nedd I have to tell you who whey were.
Yes, it was the typical RINOS--Snowe, Collins, and
Alexander.
It is past time for conservatives to show these RHINO's the exit door of the
Senate. Call their offices and hold them accountable. More importantly, be sure to support their
primary challengers so that we can defeat them at the ballot box. This may be the only thing I agree
with Obama on. In the case of the Republican RINOS, we need"Change"!

Alexanders office declined to issue a comment when given the opportunity.
Snowe and Collins could not be reached for comment after much effort. We were merely directed to an
automated comment line.
